CORD leaders have been cautioned to hold on their strongholds or they would lose with a landslide come 2017.
This is a statement from a political analyst in Kisii, Joshua Onyanche, who says Jubilee is biting into CORD’s strongholds and if the same continues the opposition will be nowhere in next year's polls.
“Jubilee has laid a strong strategy to win CORD’s strongholds and in this era, people vote you in if they see you are part of them which Jubilee does,” he says.
He added that the people did not only need promises but actions which Jubilee seems to be enticing the locals with.
“Jubilee is rooting its roots in Kisii and Nyamira which should be a reason for CORD to have sleepless nights. The Jubilee government is stealing their share as they deliver on projects to the people.” He says.
He also pointed at the state house meeting where the President called over 10,000 Ukambani leaders to State House, including Governor Alfred Mutua.
“That is a smart strategy that Jubilee is using which not only gunners votes to their side but also split the opposition from within themselves.” He says.
This is the second visit in Kisii in a scope of 2 months since the previous visit of the Deputy president.
