While wooing residents of Narok last week, Cord co-principal Raila Odinga urged the people of Narok to embrace the "six-piece" voting system.
Raila Odinga, who is also the leader of Orange democratic movement, ODM party has been crisscrossing the country selling his "six-piece" voting system.
For those who may not be in the know, "six-piece" voting system is where voters vote in the 6 legislators (President, Governor, Senator, Women Rep, Member of National assembly and Member of County Assembly) from one party.
Odinga wants to force voters to choose all the 6 legislators from Cord. "Six-piece" system will not allow people to choose who they feel is the most competent and qualified.
The system will not allow people to have the best! For voters to get the best, they should first choose character then party, not the other way round.
An aspirant who is not competent should not be forced down voters' throats just because he belongs to the party which is most popular in that area. Let's vote character, not party!
