A local company has called for at least 40 corporates to come out and contribute only Kshs 100,000  towards Dennis Musindi Omondi medical appeal.

Optiven Foundation last week contributed Kshs 100,000 towards his appeal.

Dennis Omondi a local journalist is yet to be operated in India due to acute Leukemia.He is seeking Sh 6.5 million towards the operation for bone marrow transplant. Speaking in Nairobi, the Chairman for Optiven Foundation  George Wachiuri, said he has offered an additional Kshs 20,000 personal contribution towards the same cause, he added that he was touched by Dennis current needs, reason for coming up with such initiative.Wachiuri believes that if at least 40 Corporate will come out to part with only 100,000 each, then it will bridge the deficit that is required to save a precious life.He said that nobody is immune to such a need that is currently facing Dennis and that in such a circumstance, charity is the very essence of a true human nature.Dennis was diagnosed with acute leukemia at Kenyatta National Hospital on January 10 and since then, life has not been the same for him and his family.
