Wabukala claims that graft is rife in counties and threatens the spirit of devolution as enshrined in the 2010 constitution

Speaking during the conclusion of the 4th devolution conference in Naivasha on Thursday, the EACC boss revealed that the commission is probing over 200 corruption across the 47 counties.

The retired Anglican Archbishop said that the commission has concluded corruption investigation into 20 counties and handed the its report to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Wabukala said that the commission will not tire up in its work urging Kenyans to support its mandate.

He said that the commission is also conducting lifestyle audit on county staff.

Wabukala indicated that lifestyle audit will be carried on all public servants.

The EACC boss at the same time warned politicians against politicizing war on graft.

He said that politicking corruption is derailing the commission mandate.

Wabukala stated that his office will work with other agencies to ensure speedy investigation and prosecution of corruption cases.
