Former Kenya National Library Services chairman Samuel Nyangeso has said corruption has killed many talents in the country.
Nyangeso said both the national and county governments set aside funds every year to support youths’ talents but the people who manage the monies do not give the needed support to youths.
“I ask MPs and county governments including Kisii and Nyamira to make sure they provide help to youths to prosper in life through their talents to move Gusii region forward in talents,” he added.
Nyangeso challenged the two counties to cooperate and construct a talent academy in Gusii region to give youths an opportunity to nurture and sustain their talents and prosper.
Nyangeso spoke at Ikorora on Sunday where he also said he will continue supporting talented individuals and urged other leaders to follow suit.
