Mombasa Senator Omar Hassan has asked Kenyans to stop celebrating corruption by voting in corrupt leaders.
"Corruption is celebrated in Kenya," he said.
"Why would you vote in a corrupt person," he asked.
The Senator also criticised leaders for making corruption just a topic of debate.
"They know corruption is just a national debate with no action on it," said on Monday during Citizen' TV's Power Breakfast show .
"Our outrage on corruption is just short lived. I will tell you for a fact that like any other scandal, this will die in the next few days, " he said referring to the Health ministry scam regarding the alleged loss of Sh5.3 billion.
