Murkomen who was speaking at his backyard in Koloa area said corruption would rather be pronounced as a legal practice if Waiguru leaves without being charged with theft.

“If she is not going to be charged for the corruption of NYS, we could as well legalise corruption in this country. We better change the law and make theft legal so that everyone gets a little piece,” stated Murkomen.

According to the Senate Deputy Majority Leader, enough evidence had been presented to sustain a trial against the former CS.

“I do not know whether Waiguru is guilty, but the facts presented in the table are enough for her to stand trial in a court of law,” he added.

Murkomen's sentiments are viewed by pundits as a move to counter Waiguru's sentiments with targeted him and Ruto's aide Farouk Kibet linking them massively with the NYS scam.
