Opposition leader Raila Odinga’s eldest daughter Rosemary Odinga could be joining politics ahead of 2017 elections.
Should she make the decision, she will become the fifth person from Odinga family to join national politics after her grandfather Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, Oburu Oginga (uncle), Ruth Odinga (aunt) and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Even though the renowned Agribusiness guru hasn’t made her plans public, she has however been spotted drumming support for the ODM party in Kibera slums.
Rosemary accompanied her father, Raila Odinga to a trip in Nigeria where she met top politicians according to her Facebook post on Wednesday.
“I joined my father Raila Odinga in witnessing the breaking of Kola nuts in Anambra State. This event symbolizes unity,” read the post.
“I would like to thank Senator Ben Obi, Deputy Governor Anambra State Nkem Okeke and all dignitaries who attended,” she added.
She is tipped to run for Kibra constituency seat and would likely face incumbent Ken Okoth and Nairobi City businessman Eliud Owalo.
