Kalonzo had hinted at meeting the president after his visit from Cuba over the meeting between himself and NASA leader Raila Odinga recently.

About two weeks ago President Uhuru Kenyatta held an abrupt meeting with Raila.

Other NASA co-principals perceived the move by Raila as betrayal.

They demanded that the ODM leader tells them details on his handshake with the President.

After the co-principals Kalonzo, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula met with NASA leader Raila Odinga in Machakos County where the ODM leader briefed them on the meeting, Kalonzo said they would equally meet the head of state once he returns from Cuba where he had gone on official duty.

"We believe in constructive dialogue. Concerning what Raila told us, if Weng'ula, Mudavadi and I agree the three of us will meet the President and hear from his side whether he supports constructive dialogue or not. We have not yet gotten a chance to meet with him, we are told he is out of the country. We will wait until he gets back to the country then see if he will agree to meet the three of us or not. But we cannot force him into it," Kalonzo said at a leaders meeting at a Church in Machakos town early this month.

The president has left the country for another official meeting in Rwanda only a few days he returned to the country without meeting the three NASA co-principals.

The question is, Until when will Kalonzo and his colleagues keep waiting to meet the president?
