An MP from Ukambani has boldly told Wiper leader Kalonzo Mosyoka to exclude him from his bid to unite the Kamba community under one party ahead of 2022.
The Mwala legislator Vincent Musyoka said the meeting held at Matungulu in Machakos County on Monday purportedly to unite members of the Kamba community was an individual's initiative aimed at benefiting specific politicians ahead of 2022 general elections.
"I am not party to that initiative and I assure all people from Ukambani and Kenya at large that it is bound to fail," Musyoka said.
Musyoka addressed the press in his constituency on Tuesday.
The meeting was reportedly convened to chart Ukambani's political and development way forward.
The MP said he cannot be party to an idea that is out to benefit one individual.
He told Ukambani residents to embrace Maendeleo Chap Chap party and support Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua's presidential bid in 2022.
