Speaking in the assembly on Wednesda, assembly speaker Okerosi Ondieki said the sittings has to be adjourned to Thursday since the MCAs had no hard copies which have house business to be discussed on Wednesday in the assembly.

The MCAs went on the recess but were called to attend a special sitting to discuss important issues on Wednesday at 8 am.

“We will resume tomorrow on Thursday because MCAs have soft copies of what was to be discussed today and I urge MCAs to download hard copies as we resume tomorrow to discussion over the same,” said Ondieki.

The commotions among MCAs were experienced in the assembly as Sengera Bosoti MCA Timothy Nyarang’o accused the speaker of adjourning the sittings that were gazetted by saying when they received messages on Tuesday that they were to have a sitting on Wednesday everything should have been availed in the assembly.

His sentiments were echoed by Bokimonge MCA George Bibao who said MCAs came today on Wednesday to discuss important issues to move the county ahead.

Among the issues to be discussed are the motion on the state of Gucha river bridge at Ogembo town, petition of employment process by the county public service board, report of auditor general on financial operations in the county 2014/2015 financial year among others
