The County Assembly of Mombasa on Friday adopted a report on vetting of Chief officers nominees.

This followed successful interview by various Assembly Committee members. The nominees include;

Medical Services - Dr. Khadija Shikely

Public Health - Dr. Aisha Abubakar

Transport - Eng Albert Keno

Infrastructure - Thomas Moyo

Trade - Abdulswamad Mbarak

Investments - Ms Ilhan Abbas

Sports - Rajab BabuYouth and Gender - Ibrahim Farah

Culture - Khamis Kurichwa

Agriculture and Livestock - Rosena Wasoi 

Fisheries - Uzel Mazera 

Education - Tuni Mwalukumbi

Energy, Environment and Solid waste management - Dr. Jeophita Mwajuma

Water, Sanitation and Natural Resources - Francis Kombe

Devolution and Public Service Administration - Ms Justina Mwikya

Governor's office - Juliana Cherera

Finance and Economic Planning - Asha Abdi

Physical Planning and Housing - Jaffar Mohsen.

The motion of adoption was tabled by the Majority Leader Hamisi Musa Mwidani during a special sitting.
