Kisii Governor James Ongwae has hailed the County assembly of Kisii for the goods work they are doing in ensuring that necessary bills are passed.
Speaking on Tuesday at his office during the Signing of Bursaries fund amendment bill into law the County boss hailed the County assembly for the good work they are doing.
“Since we came into power I have seen our county assembly led by our able speaker Kerosi Ondieki doing a wonderful job which has made this county move forward, let us continue supporting each other so that we can achieve our goals,” he said.
He added that the county assembly has helped the county more so in the passing of crucial bills which has enabled them to move forward.
“The bills which have been passed by the assembly and signed into law has really helped this county to move ahead,” he added.
“By mentioning a few the El Nino emergency funding, county Alcoholic Drinks Control Bill, 2015, The Kisii County Business Licensing Bill, 2015, and the Rating Bill are among the bills which have made this county to move ahead once they were passed and signed into law,” Ongwae said.
The speaker also said that the assembly is devoted to making sure that they are doing the right things so that we can move the county ahead.
“Being the first county assembly under devolution we will do our best to achieve our goals for legacy,” said Kerosi.
