The County Assembly has withdrawn a report after it emerged that the Labour and Social Services eleven member committee presented three different documents.
Acting Speaker Elijah Omondi in a heated debate was forced to rule that the report be withdrawn from the House.
“I have documents signed by all members of the committee, some are not signed at all while others a few signed,” said Mr Omondi.
The Committee on November 8, 2015 visited Parliament for a week and subsequently filed the report.
Kondele Ward MCA Gabriel Ochieng said he had been served with documents with information that largely differed from what some of his colleagues had for debate.
Caroline Owen, Kisumu North Ward representative and a member of the committee disowned a signature appended against her name in the report.
“The signature against my name on some of the documents is not mine and I do not understand who plagiarized the signing of the report,” said Ms Owen.
The Committee chair, James Oyugi said the Committee members had deliberated on the report and approved the recommendations blaming the Committee Clerk for the error.
