Kisii county residents have challenged the committee that was formed to grill county ministers on how the 2015/2016 budget was spent on various projects to release the report.
Speaking to journalist in Kisii town, residents led by Elijah Machuka noted that they have not received any report over the grilling that was done over the last 6 months to know how the public funds were used in various development projects.

“We asked for the grilling and the exercise was done over the last 6 months but since then we have not received any report on how the money was used by 10 county ministers in development we need transparency and accountability of public funds,” added Machuka.
