Bomet County Commissioner Bernard Leparmarai has rubbished claims by Governor Isaac Ruto that Jubilee Party leaders are plotting to disrupt NASA's political rally to be held in the region on Saturday.
On Thursday, Leparmarai termed Governor Ruto's claims as "nonsense", observing that a meeting held in his office was on maintenance of law and order, the Star has reported.
“If indeed he has that information, he should report to the police,” Leparmarai said.
Governor Ruto on Thursday alleged that there was a scheme by Jubilee to disrupt the NASA rally, accusing the Jubilee administration of using Leparmarai to execute the plan.
“The county commissioner held two meetings in his office planning on how to create chaos on Saturday,” he claimed.
