Kiambu Public Service Board Chairman Dominic Gicharu has assured that the county is committed to provide efficient services to the locals.
Speaking to news reporters in his office Tuesday, the chairman said the county has outlined various agendas and policies meant to propel development.
He stated that the county government takes seriously the key issues facing the people including poverty, lack of access to medical care, water shortages among others.
“Kiambu government is keen to fulfill the development agenda, we are working with the private sector to actualize the same,” said Gicharu.
The Public Service Board Chair urged county workers to remain committed and focused on their duties.
He said that the main aim of devolution is to ensure residents have access to quality services.
Meanwhile, the chairman said the government is working on policies that will curb youth unemployment.
He said the government will support initiatives being made by the youths towards creating employment.
He urged the youths to seek development funds and start ventures that will empower them economically and socially.
