Kimplombe MCA and leader of Minority Ramadhan Ali has put on notice county government of Uasin Gishu askaris who mistreat residents.
Speaking in his office on Thursday, Mr Ali said he had received complaints from Eldoret residents that county askaris harass residents especially traders.
“I have received complaints from over ten people," he said on Thursday.
He said that recently the county askaris invade the Presbyterian Church in Eldoret town and destroyed their banners claiming that they have not paid for it only to find out that it was paid for.
“I urge Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago to instruct the law enforcement officers to handle people well," he added.
Mr Ali said traders had logged a complaint in his office seeking for his intervention over the matter.
He said the traders claimed the askaris harass them despite their efforts to pay taxes to the county government.
