Nakuru county government has been challenged to complete the construction of Rhonda market which has stalled for the past three years.
Speaking during a market meeting on Saturday, Nakuru West constituency CDF manager Joshua Onduko said that the construction of the market has overstayed and called on the county government to allocate money for its completion.
"Traders at this market have waited for long enough and its time the county government finished this work so that traders can start using this market,"said Onduko.
"As CDF we played our part by using over 8 million to set up the stalls you are seeing around here but the county government has delayed in doing the rest of the work,"he added.
Nakuru county director of trade Mandeep Singh who was present promised that the market will be completed before the end of the year. The Rhonda market construction was a partnership between the Nakuru West CDF and the County government of Nakuru.
