Nakuru County government has announced plans to construct training centres for athletes.

Nakuru Deputy Governor Dr. Erick Korir said their administration will ensure all talents within the county are supported.

“Nakuru County supports sports and will construct athletics training centers to nurture talents,” he said.

Korir spoke after attending the Naivasha Easter Half Marathon On Saturday where he represented the Nakuru County Governor Lee Kinyanjui.

The event was also graced by Sports PS Kassim Farah who represented Deputy President William Ruto.

The event was organized by area MP Jane Kihara.
