High Court Judge Aggrey Muchelule has said county governments are key stakeholders in the administration of justice in the country.
Speaking in Nakuru on Wednesday when he led a delegation of Judicial Service Commission officials on a courtesy call at the County Government of Nakuru headquarters, Muchelule said the judiciary will continue to support counties to realize the dream of devolution by way of building more courts and posting judges.
Justice Muchelule said a Sh347 million court in Nakuru was 70 percent complete and would attract investors into the County.
“Businessmen setting base in Nakuru will be confident of smooth operations as labor related and other disputes will be expeditiously settled,” he said.
Nakuru Deputy Governor Dr Erick Korir thanked the judiciary for setting up a county court in Nakuru.
Nakuru High Court Judge Maureen Odero asked the county to secure houses for judges and magistrates.
She said the new court will accommodate a court of Appeal and other courts thus calling for more housing units for judicial officers.

County Court prosecutor Kennedy Sanya said the court is currently reuniting street children with their families.
