[Photo|Ali Hassan Joho]Due to irresponsible murram mining which has led to serious environmental degradation, the County government of Mombasa has closed down all murram mining sites with immediate effect in Shanzu ward, Kisauni Sub-county.While conducting touring the sites and declared the closing down, Mama Tatu Kalama and Fatuma Mdzomba treated Governor Ali Hassan Joho, and other county officials who accompanied him, to a sumptuous lunch at their home. "My sincere gratitude goes out to the two noble women for their heart warming welcome and embrace. I am forever indebted for their kindness and generosity. May the Almighty bless them abundantly," he said, Friday.
