According to the area bodaboda riders, they have been asking for a shed since 2013 but their appeal has now been fulfilled.

Addressing the press on Monday at their bodaboda shed in Keumbu, bodaboda operators led by James Nyangenya hailed Kisii county governor James Ongwae for the construction of the shed.

“We have been suffering from the rain and even during the sunny season since we had nowhere to cover ourselves, we are happy and we hail our governor Ongwae for constructing this shed,” said Nyangenya.

The same bodaboda shades have been constructed at Denmark in Kisii town, Kegati and Marani among other areas in Kisii County.
