The County executive in-charge of Roads in Nakuru Joel Maina Kairu has defended the county government over claims that his department has failed to deliver on roads.
Kairu says the devolved unit has done substantively enough on rural roads in the region.
“Some of the roads in remote parts of this county such as Olenguruone, Mai Mahiu, Keringet and Molo have been upgraded and they are not what they used to be some three years ago,” said Kairu.
The county government has been on the spot from critics who accuse the governor of failing to kick start any flagship project.
