The exercise of identifying dams to be distilled and those to be freshly sunk took Governor Jackson Mandago to Moiben Ward in Moiben Sub-County on Thursday.
Just a day after touring Segero/Barsombe on the same agenda, Moiben played host for the Governor who, alongside members of his cabinet Mary Njogu (Water), Esther Mutai (Cooperative), Dr. Emily Kogos (Trade), Nelson Maritim (Lands), Joseph Kurgat (Education), Samuel Yego (Agriculture) and Chief Officer (Water) Simon Kemei were making physical visitations to more than 10 dams in the ward.
Mandago is currently making day-long tours to each of the 30 wards, as he advances one of his second term main agendas; water provision.
The vocal Jubilee governor also emphasized on youth to join technical institutions to pursue technical courses adding that the government is offering scholarships.
With the government harnessing manufacturing towards achievement of industrial revolution, technical skills are paramount in manufacturing, which is one of Jubilee Government's 'Big Four Pillars'.
The dams visited by the Governor were, Torochmoi/Charar, Kapsubere, Simotwo, Sesia, Kose, Ranymoi, Lelaibei, Twiga, and Merewet. The last baraza was held at Twiga Dispensary.
