South Mugirango Member of Parliament Manson Nyamweya who is also eyeing for Kisii gubernatorial seat has accused the county government of not using the right procedure in employment within the county.
Nyamweya said that in four years of devolution the county has been employing people without following the right procedure which needs to be addressed so that all residents can get equal opportunity.
“It is so shameful to have allowed a system where people get an appointment with no due process being followed due process should be followed to ensure we have equal opportunities," he said.
He noted that many qualified people who need to get employed have been locked out of employment by the County.
The legislator also promised to improve roads and health sector once elected as Governor by accusing the Jubilee government of deceiving the Gusii electorate that it is committed to improving infrastructures in the region.
He said infrastructure is still poor despite the many promises by Jubilee Party leaders.
