She told the press on Wednesday that they have been lovers with the officer two years now and further revealed that the officer has been paying her money every time she sleeps with him.

"He pays me Sh50 whenever he sleeps with me,” she said of the 50-year-old officer who works at Kuresoi sub-county headquarters.

The girl further revealed that the officer bought her a SIM card and mobile phone for use so that he could call whenever he needed her.

"We started dating when I was in class six," she said.

The pupil said that during holidays, the officer would pick and drop her using a county government vehicle while her parents were away.

Headteacher Jane Songok said the minor has been living with her aunt since her mother passed on five years ago and that a Kisumu-based catholic nun has been paying school fees for the girl and her five siblings.

“I reported the matter to the education office and we want serious action taken against the man," said Ms Songok

The headteacher said the record of messages in the girl's SIM card will be key to investigations.

Ms Songok lamented that the officer's children were in good schools while he took advantage of his government job and vehicle to spoil vulnerable minors.

She further promised not to rest until police take firm action against the said officer.

Meanwhile, Keringet location assistant chief Nicholas Kering said he was liaising with police officers to ensure the county officer is arrested and prosecuted.

Deputy OCPD Kuresoi Sub-county Paul Rono also acknowledged statements written by the minor's guardians and said investigations were underway.
