Nyamira County senator Okong’o Omogeni has denied reports that Nyamira County government has given a deaf ear to the families whose loved ones lost their lives following a tragic road accident in Narok.
The senator assured victims that the county government will help in clearing hospital bills for the accident victims.
“The county government will facilitate transport for the bodies of those who died. We should avoid politicking such matters," he said.
He mourned the death of 9 people from Nyamira County saying it is trying time for the families.
“As leaders will should comfort the families who lost their loved ones. Every family will see the bodies of the deceased lifted to their respective homes," he said.
He challenged leaders across Nyamira County to stop politicizing deaths once they occur.
