Kisii county Governor James Ongwae has said that all the development projects initiated in the county and have not been completed will be considered before the next elections in 2017.
Speaking at Nyacheki Ward, Ongwae said that his government will ensure the projects are completed before locals go to the ballot in 2017.
"The many projects in the county that were initiated with some that have been completed while others are ongoing, the county government will ensure its completion before 2017 elections. I am determined to ensure that by the time I leave office, Kisii county will be one of the best-structured counties in the country," said Ongwae.
He assured residents from the ward whose area MCA died a few days ago and ensured them proper by-elections will be held and the successful person to take office will bring development as the late MCA has started projects.
He added that meanwhile, he will oversight the ongoing projects such as the construction of Mogongo-Keera bridge which is ongoing and the Baringo bridge whose works will start soon before the by-election in the ward set to be conducted in October.
