Nakuru county will put waiver on Kasarani Land rates in Molo sub-county.

Speaking at Turi club in Molo sub-county, Nakuru County Lands CEC Rachael Maina said this shall be done through the County Assembly.

"Every September the county allows waiver on land rates and thus we shall consider Kasarani in Molo,"said CEC Maina.

She, however, appealed to county residents to ensure they use the opportunity which is given once per year.

The CEC noted that most residents in Nakuru are ignorant on the issues of land.

Meanwhile, she also assured Nakuru residents that her docket will continue working closely with Lands Ministry to ensure the wrangles surrounding Land in Nakuru are solved.
