On Monday, the exercise took its full course at Moi's Bridge Health Facility, where more than one thousand patients among them children and elderly turned up for the services.

Addressing patients while touring various camps, the chief officer in charge of health services Wilson Kemei said that the county government is committed to offering health services to its residents across the county.

"We are keen on the health matters of our people and that is why we came up with medical camp initiative,“ said Kemei.

With the high number of patients witnessed during the exercise, Kemei assured them of enough medicine and screening services meant for solving their medical complications.

He further noted that the county identified some key areas where cases of non-communicable diseases are on the rise.

"Our county health facilities will be covered if a rise in non-communicable diseases are identified," Chief Officer in charge of the facility Beatrice Ng'eno said.

"All patients are screened and treated unless the condition calls for further medication that might demand referral," added Ng'eno.
