The training that has drawn youth from all the wards across the county is aimed at helping them use their ICT skills to venture into entrepreneurship and create employment opportunities to the society.

Officiating the function, ICT and e-Government CECM Barnabas K. Sang asked the youth to campaign their technological skills to sort the problems in the society and to harness skills in Business through the ICT.

“This training is to help you know how to apply ICT in real world and to guide in seizing opportunities that will lead you to be great entrepreneurs in the society which in turn will make you employers rather than job seekers,” noted Sang.

The five-day training was also attended by Youth and Sports Chief Officer Eunice Kerich who urged the youth to engage more in business and fix their thoughts more on investing through the ICT rather than depending on job seeking.

The empowerment program was held at Comfy Hotel in Eldoret town.
