According to Governor Jackson Mandago Sh135 million has been allocated for bursary kitty.

"Each of the thirty wards will receive four million, five hundred thousand shillings. We don't want our children to stay at home," he said.

Speaking during the launch on Monday, Mandago said the bursary will be given to secondary, primary and higher learning institutions.

"In the last three years, we have given out three hundred and fifteen million Kenya shillings, where more than thirty students have benefited," he said.

In this year's allocation eighteen thousand six hundred and fifty two students will benefit.

"Education is the key to our success and my government will give equal chance to grow up and be better people in the society," he said.
