The County Government of Uasin Gishu has announced that the registration for the inaugural Eldoret City Marathon is open and will be closed on April 20, 2018.
In a statement posted on the county's official Facebook page, the county government noted that one can choose any distances to run depending on their experience and age.
"You can choose from the following distances to run depending on your experience and age: Full marathon - For 18 years and older, 10 KM marathon - For 18 years and older," read part of the post.
Governor Jackson Mandago's government also noted that the entry fee will be USD 12 or Sh1,200 in all races while late registration 19th-20th April 2018 will be charged USD 20 or Sh2,000.

"No cash is allowed only avail the receipt or bank slip during the registration process," the county government added.
