Kisii County is set to improve health facilities in South Mugirango sub-county to a modern level.
According to the CeC Health in Kisii county Sarah Omache, the county has plans to fund all health projects and ensure that all facilities are of class and can be enough to all residents in the area.
Speaking during a stakeholder’s forum at Nduru Boys High School, she said that all parties should be active for the county to achieve this goal.
“We are ready to work with the National government so that we can be able to benefit from the health bonds and facilities in the county,” added Omache.
The forum brought together all health management committees from all the health centers, facilities and hospitals in South Mugirango sub-county
The meeting saw the chairpersons of the various health committees present the status report of their facilities, development progress and challenges facing the health facilities.
The meeting was also attended by the representatives of the National government, the sub-county administrators, ward administrators and the area members of the County Assembly.
