Bomariba ward MCA Protus Moindi has assured that Kisii County government will allocate more funds to expand the construction of Entanke Youth Polytechnic in Keboye sub location.
Moindi said the funds to be allocated will be used to construct more classrooms to accommodate the increased number of students enrolling in the institution.
“Entanke has been receiving increased number of students. The classes available are few to serve the increased number of learners," he said.
He said once the funds will be allocated, tenders will be allocated to local contractors.
“Local contractors will benefit once the tenders will be advertised. No foreigner contractor will benefit from the tenders in Bomariba ward because we have qualified and experienced people to do various tenders in Bomariba,” he noted.
The MCA said the local community will benefit from job opportunities to boost the living standards.
