Terer has asked Kenyans to support the President in the war against corruption, saying it had affected everyone in one way or another.

"Everybody is a victim of this corruption dragon. Here especially, we have seen farmers struggling to buy farm inputs as well as get a market for their produce but cannot because of high level corruption in government,” said Terer.

The Speaker noted that Kenyans are shocked by the revelation of misappropriation of billions of taxpayers' money, and promised to fight graft from where he sits.

"In the county assembly, we will ensure that we play our oversight role while the public must play its role through public participation,” he said.

Terer further called upon the EACC to conduct thorough investigations, so as to present a water tight case before the courts.

He was speaking in Mugundoi in Kesses Constituency on Tuesday, during the burial of Kesses CDF Chairman's mother Salina Rotich.
