Nyamira Health Chief Officer Douglas Bosire has said the county has used Sh48 million to buy medicines.
According to Bosire, this is one way of addressing the drug deficit in the county hospitals.
“The drugs will be disbursed to various public hospitals and dispensaries and I want to assure residents that county health sector is well prepared to serve patients,” said Bosire.
He also added that the county is prioritising the health sector to ensure resident access medical services with ease.
Bosire was addressing the media on Friday in Nyamira town where he promised that the sector will keep on improving more and more in its services.
