Kisii County government through the health department has announced plans to distribute deworming drugs to all schools in the county.
According to Sarah Omache minister for Health, children between 2–14 years will be given the deworming drugs.
Omache said parents should not be afraid because the deworming exercise will not harm their children.
“Health officers have been directed to distribute the deworming drugs to all schools across the county ahead of the deworming exercise that will be done on February 28, 2018. Parents should have no fear because the drugs will be administered by experts,” she said.
She assured that the exercise will be done each year to ensure the good health of the children.
