The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) will jointly work with County Government of Kisumu to develop and promote tourism in the county. 

The decision was reached at following a collaborative meeting which was held at the KWS Regional Headquarters in Kisumu on Friday over the partnership. 

The meeting was led by Tourism CeC Achie Ojany Alai and KWS Senior Warden Christine Boit. 

Also present during the meeting was Head of Impala Park, Millicent, and head of Ndere National Park, Langat.

The two institutions agreed to prioritise on the conservation of county's natural resources, develop tourism and continuously run marketing campaigns to promote tourism in the county of Kisumu.
