The Uasin Gishu County Lands Executive, Robert Ngisery, has threatened to revoke all land title deeds acquired illegally in the county.
Speaking to the press in his office on Tuesday, Ngisery said the government is keen to reposes all grabbed land.
He said investigations have been launched into cases that some individuals are owning land illegally
“The county government is reviewing its records and will take stern action against land grabbers,” he said.
The Lands executive further warned that the government will not tolerate corruption noting that individuals implicated in corrupt scandals will be dealt with.
Mr Ngisery urged the public to provide information on corruption to enable enforcers take action against the perpetrators.
The executive indicated that corruption is a disease that should be fought by every Kenyan.
He at the same time asked locals to be wary when dealing with matters involving land.
He alleged that some individuals posing as land agents are defrauding unsuspecting individuals of their property.
