The Kisii county through the ministry of health has agreed to work with private health centers as one way of providing quality health services to the residents.
According to Kisii county director of health Geoffrey Ontomu, they have come up with the agreement of working with private health institutions across the county to improve the sector.
Ontomu said that they will be monitoring the private institutions in making sure that the services offered to residents are to the standard required by the ministry of health.
“As the Ministry of health we have agreed to work with private health Institutions to make sure that the services delivered to residents are of the standards required by ministry,” Ontomu said.
“By doing this we are aware that our health services within the county are going to be improved in both public and private health institutions since we will be checking whether the institutions are of the required standard by the ministry of health," added Ontomu.
