Kisii county education board chairman Henry Ondari has said bodies responsible for the issuance of academic certificates should be called to conduct a full audit of county employees.

Ondari said that the degrees held by the employees are questionable. 

He claimed that people with money attained the degrees illegally and a full audit should be done to wipe out illegal employees.

“Employees’ academic history should be scrutinised and asked to produce their papers for verification," he said.

Ondari added that people with money have helped their relatives who are not qualified to secure employment opportunities in the county.
