Mlolongo traders have asked the Machakos county government to build them a market where they can do business.

The traders explained how difficult it is selling from the road side with sewage and litter flowing just a few meters away.

The traders also asked for a market day like the other towns in Machakos town.

The business fraternity also complained of frequent insecurity especially in Mpesa shops. They urged the police to heighten security by having more night and day patrols.

Mlolongo is one of the strategic towns due to the weigh bridge and many inhabitants and also the close proximity to Nairobi and Machakos.
