Most people especially mothers are not able to access the ARV's which should be brought closer to them through community-based programs which will offer guidance and counseling to the locals.

“HIV/AIDS is still a threat to the current generation especially the youth. We have slugged and forgotten about the fight against the disease which is a national concern,” said Griffins.

“The county government should conduct more campaigns to educate the public on HIV/AIDS especially the youth,” He adds.

He added that more research out to be conducted on this disease.

“The county government has a research stations in the county which should be tasked with researching more on the disease and its cure. We should take this issue more seriously,” he said.
