A court on Monday released four former Isiolo county workers who were facing corruption charges.
The accusations emanated from a Sh2.4 million tender for the supply of gunny bags.
The court ruled that the prosecution which called 16 witnesses to testify did not prove the case against the accused persons Charles Gachihi Mwangi, Humphrey Kithuku Maina, Hadija Halake Dida and Jesse Irungu.
The prosecution early had told the court that the accused persons should be held responsible for the mismanagement of the said funds when they served as county employees in the previous government.
