Masalani council of elders have called on the President and his government to ensure cohesion in the region.
In an exclusive interview, these elders said President Kenyatta should ensure there are peace and reconciliation in the regions and more so encourage development.
“We plead with president Kenyatta to ensure a cohesive society and more so in these regions as this will shape his deputy President political career.
There is a need for the communities in the region to embrace each other,” Ahmed Mohamed said.
These elders also addressed the coming together of Raila Odinga and President Kenyatta.
“The move is in order and we hope it is not political but a move that will ensure peaceful nation. It will help us realize development," added Ahmed.
