Police in Nakuru are investigating circumstances under which a young couple was found dead in a room in Pipeline Estate with gunshot wounds on their bodies.
The bodies of a 26-year-old mason, only identified as Dan, and his girlfriend Tabitha Waringe were found in a house on Monday morning.
Nakuru police boss Bernard Kioko said CID officers were probing the source of the death.
“The police, CID officers and other detectives are doing their investigations and they have taken some evidence which we hope will help them to solve this mystery. I assure you that we will have the final report and we will share it with you,” Kioko told the press.
Kioko, who was speaking at the scene of the incident, asked residents to share any kind of information which might help the police unravel the mystery.
“If you have any kind of information which might be of help to the police in trying to solve this mystery murder, we urge you to kindly share it with us,” Kioko urged the residents.
Kioko said that the bodies of the couple were taken to Nakuru Municipal mortuary.
