The high court in Mavoko has acquitted 10 men for inadequate evidence.
The men had been charged with breaking into a Kenya Power Company stores along Kiungani Road at Mlolongo on the night of February 27 this year where they allegedly stole assorted electrical materials and office equipment all valued at more than three million shillings.
While making his ruling, Senior Principal Magistrate EK Too said the prosecution had failed to prove its case against the accused persons beyond reasonable doubts.
"I acquit the accused of the charges as contained in the charge sheet pursuant to section 215 CPC," said Justice Too.
