Kisii High Court on Friday adjourned the hearing of a petition challenging the election of Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i.
The petition was filed by a Nyaribari Chache MP aspirant Chris Bichage who vied on an ODM party ticket but lost to Tong'i of Jubilee Party.
The hearing was adjourned over different names of the petitioner in the exhibits and affidavits after lawyer Okong’o Omogeni representing Tongi, objected the names of the petitioner saying the names don't match since some affidavits had names bearing Chris Munga instead of Chris Munga Bichage.
Omogeni asked judge Anthony Ndung’u to throw out the affidavits.
Justice Ndung'u will rule over the matter on November 28.
